Hi again everyone! Carol (Bookdelle)- Here is what I learned about pipes...you have to be a real expert to sell them! LOL. When I started researching them I couldn't even make sense of the markings. I found this guy on eBay whose name is Rob Cooper- he goes by Coopersark I think. He had over 10,000 positive feedback, all from pipes. I sent him pictures, wondering if he would be interested in selling them on consignment. He called me up on the phone! He was funny, nice, and very efficient. This is what he does for a living. He put them up in lots of 4-5 at a time, except for the two that were more rare, and sold for around $400 each. Those he reconditioned and polished etc. He has a loyal client base, mostly in Asia it seemed. As soon as he put up the auctions he emailed links so that I could follow them. The photographs were better than anything I could have done. As soon as the auctions were done, he sent an accounting and a check for 70% (he takes 30%, pretty standard I think). Anyway, I was really happy with the whole thing.
