    lookwhatbobfound ~ You say, "let’s not go down that road again," Yet you then make 4 posts about the subject. You might want to think about this quote, "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me." as well as allowing people to say what they want to say instead of telling them in so many words to shut up.

    Chris (cwc2337) Technically, it was not murder but there is no doubt that GZ killed TM. Why some people think that someone who has been in some trouble deserve to be shot and killed by a self-appointed wannabe is beyond me. As my grandmother said, "the road to he!! is paved with good intentions" and one might say that is what happened with GM walking around with a loaded gun and looking for anyone who he deemed not to look right in some shape or form.

    So as far a murder Chris , no, not in the legal and technical. Interestingly the 6th commandant that most people have known for a very long time as "Thou shalt not kill" is now being rendered "Thou shalt not murder." The Hebrew word so translated does not refer to killing in general but to malicious and unlawful killing.

    On the reverse side of the coin, you have Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet"

    "O, be some other name! What's in a name? that which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet;"

    Meaning: What matters is what something is, not what it is called.

    From Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, 1600:

    JULIET:
    'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
    Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
    What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
    Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
    Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
    What's in a name? that which we call a rose
    By any other name would smell as sweet;
    So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
    Retain that dear perfection which he owes
    Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
    And for that name which is no part of thee
    Take all myself.

    Bottom line: Trevor Martin is dead and there are those who will never change their minds that he deserved to die for his past actions; otherwise they wouldn't keep bringing up his juvenile past. Reminds me of people who think women deserve to be rape because of their past. That is why in rape cases a woman's past is not allowed to be brought up. Heck, you still have people who think it is all about how a woman dresses or that she shouldn't have been in a certain place at a certain time...
