Jim...Results with knee replacements seem to be all over the place. I've known several folks that have had them and after a couple of months of rehab have had no further problems. On the other hand, my uncle had one in his mid 70s and has had nothing but trouble. He says he's had just under 20 operations to try to correct the problem and things still aren't 100% 8 years later.

I hope someone can figure out a solution to your wife's problem. Don't give up.
