Good morning, all. We just finished our usual once a week breakfast (brunch) of southwestern hash brown potatoes with onion and green pepper, basted eggs on top, bacon and champagne. We both like hot cereal as long as it has texture - don't particularly care for cream of wheat or rice and definitely not grits! Our favorite is a Canadian brand called Red River cereal but I haven't been able to locate it in our usual grocery stores this year. We'll occasionally use the packet type oatmeal, usually maple and brown sugar flavor, particularly when we stay at a motel that has that as an available option. Most mornings my breakfast is cold cereal and 2 pieces of toast, peanut butter on one and preserves on the other.
