You guys in the midwest have a real "3 dog night" going on! (This is paula, incidentally, on Dan's computer).
We started the morning below zero but it went up to 25 degrees. Feeling bad for all of you further east where this arctic blast is just parked. DH is in the hospital overnight – I took him to clinic this morning because he had the awful cough, congestion and headache too, and a lot of trouble breathing. They looked at both of us and decided I couldn’t be much help if he needed care and decided to admit him and stabilize him with steroids and oxygen, etc. They’ll send him home tomorrow with O2 until this stuff clears out of his lungs. I’m using a little from time to time from the little portable tank we have – but I’m not coughing quite so much. Still can’t talk a lot or move around because I run out of breath easily. This too shall pass! Keep warm and safe, all. While I was out anyway I stopped at the store and let them carry my two bags out for me - I never wimp out like that. It was the best thing to do. So we're set here.
