Report on the furnace room cleanout today! I DID find something interesting today. Some of you have known me for about 10 years now, and the story of the piles of stuff accumulated by my Dad, so you will believe me when I tell you that today's find was...a very smelly box of about 100 old fishing lures! I know nothing about them except that they stab you when you try to separate them and that old ones can be potentially worth something. So my mother and I had an entertaining afternoon trying to identify them on eBay and other sites, they have ridiculous names like "Chub Creek Tiny Runt" which caused some hilarity. It was a fun way to spend a hot humid afternoon. I think that they are going to be my next project on eBay because seriously...books are not selling. Of the last group that I put up, there were 7 sold (some on relists) and 20 unsold. My DH will be thrilled (not) he says "everytime you come back from your mother's you start pulling scary things out of your trunk" ha ha.
