I'm glad that we only have to take our recyclables to the end of the driveway. Wednesday is our garbage pickup and Thursday is recycling. Aluminum, glass and plastic go in one paper bag, paper in another. Garbage is easier for the guy doing pickup, has an arm that picks up the plastic can and dumps it behind him. Recycling has 2 guys - bags of mixed materials are dumped in one spot with the paper bag being crunched up and put in the other slot along with bags containing paper.
