12"+ for Tuesday, sigh. wray and son just freed up the garage doors to access the snowblower and make sure it runs. We had ice in an earlier storm and were careless with cleanup so the doors wouldn't open over some accumulated ice. We have an old garage with two doors that open out - remember those?

I think we could write a little book about grandmothers. We lived in the house owned by my grandmother who was a widow. She was a more important influence on me than my mother but my mother was in the situation of living in her mother-in-law's house and that had an impact on her.
