    Fortunately I'm not the one driving to Burlington Vt - it's my friends.

    It was 6 degrees when I went out about 9:15a.m. and had risen to 11 by the time I came home at 10:30. We have had such cold weather for so long now. No days above freezing and many barely at 20.

    Ok, gloat it you will. I just hope we don't lose power as we have no back up.

    .Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 7 am EST Monday...
    hazard types...heavy snow...blowing snow...and blizzard conditions.

    Accumulations...snow accumulation of 11 to 18 inches.

    Timing...light snow begins around midday today and increases in intensity late this afternoon and tonight. Snow ends during the day on Sunday or Sunday evening but significant blowing snow continues into Monday. The height of blizzard conditions are not expected to occur until late tonight and especially during the day on Sunday when the winds will be the strongest.

    Impacts...heavy snow and blowing snow will lead to blizzard conditions at times...mainly late tonight and Sunday. Travel will be dangerous with snow covered roads and low visibility. Wind chill values are expected to be well below zero Sunday and Sunday night.

    Winds...north winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph late tonight and Sunday.
    Visibilities...one quarter mile or less at times.
    Temperatures...in the single digits and teens
