Overcast and snow predicted overnight. Ho-Hum.
I've been trying to do a "first sort" and remove stuff from the house for more than a year. Despite what has gone out the door, it doesn't look like much has happened. Prior to retiring I was going to thrifts, yard sales and auctions and buying not just books but framed items, clothing and "smalls" with the intent of selling on ebay and having a booth in a group shop. I've tried a boot several times but didn't do well selling my items and ebay and amazon haven't done what I had hoped. So I look at things that I know are worth money and hate to donate them.
Sometimes I go through old paperwork but there is a lot of that; - there is a lot of everything. I've read books on hoarding and how to declutter and I belong to an on-line group for this but it is slow going. Calling my current activities a "first sort" has helped me move on as I don't have as many decisions to make.Off to buy dog food, wine and do some grocery shopping.
Enjoy the day.
