I'm currently reading The Lords of Discipline, by Pat Conroy, again. I read it originally when it came out around 1980. I remember thinking at the time that it was over the top violent. We just got back from a short family vacation in Charleston, SC and I'm curious to read his vivid descriptions of Charleston now that I've actually seen it. Also, is Briguy on this board? Because we visited the old State House and they had a big exhibit on Confederate Postal History! Specifically, exactly which stamps and postmarks were used in Charleston during the Civil War. I took pictures LOL.
