Bethvt- that's a good idea- I could call my sister. Now that you mention it though, DH has an Iphone! (for work but it it here right now). His data plan should be able to get the internet even though the power is out. My other sister made a good point today (she is in southern ct, also supposed to get a direct hit) The last time she lost power for a weeki, the house got filthy. So I'm trying to do all laundry, dishes etc assuming I won't be able to for a while...
