We used to always have a jigsaw puzzle laid out on a table in the living room. We would get puzzles that had been donated to a local thrift and put them together to see if the puzzle was complete. The puzzles would then be returned to the thrift with a tag on the box stating if the puzzle was complete, or if there were missing or damaged pieces. Even puzzles with missing pieces would sell (cheaply) because some people used the pieces for art projects.
The Wysocki puzzles were our favorite to assemble.
