Good Morning, gonna pop in again, been awhile, last time, no one seemed to be around.
Things here in No. Central Florida been ok,, very hot/humid, some thunderstorm relief but the humidity is awful.
I am looking forward to October... would like to miss the 2 busy hurricane months..........but just will roll with the flow - no other choice.
Am ok, some health problems, but at almost 85, to be expected. Try and walk outside 20 minutes a day (miss when I could do an hour) and am going to Physical Therapy twice a week, which is keeping me vertical and as strong as possible.
I am tired of cooking............summer not my favorite time for cuisine.... I prefer the fall-spring of soups, stews, heavier foods.
One of my granddaughters is presenting me with GreatGrandChild #7, a baby boy, in September.... my grands are scattered all over the U.S.
Not doing anything at Friends of Library, us old croakers pretty much aged out and new, younger folks have taken the helm. Last sale they made over $180,000 dollars, and they have also paid off the mortgage on the building, so it is debt free except utilities, insurance and maintenance...Good feeling. We will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the FOL at our September annual meeting. Their first sale in 1954 earned a little over $250.
My two cats, Punkin and Sweet Pea that I adopted during Covid are now over 4 yrs. old... sweet and funny and healthy and good company.
My sister and I Facetime every afternoon for an hour or more, and enjoy just cussing and discussing the world workings, politics, health, weather, kids, grandkids, etc..............look forward to it every day. We haven't been together since we came back from the last cruise we took, and it will probably be the last. I love cruising, it's the "getting to the ship" and the "getting back home" that is the worst part...
Well, gonna close, must eat a bit of lunch so it can settle before PT at 2PM........ take care all, and stay well.
