I agree with what you say Beth but I was a member of the NRA too and I know they are buying the politicans and have gotten anyone that votes against them thrown out and replaced by someone that will not vote against their ideas. I think everyone who buys a gun either through a dealer or at a gun show show should have to pass a background check. If there is nothing to hid then why so scared of checks. They ( government) already know your address and what you have for toys by the tax records so they aren't going to come to my house and take my three guns. I don't think you would let them come to your house and do it either. But the government has to be able to really check effeciently before they can check for gun shows and they can not do that yet.

When I was having so much truble with my back operations every year I bought a fold up walker at a auction and mounted a small basket on the front of it. That way I could carry small stuff with me when I had to use it. I also bought a air concentrater for 55 bucks and a nearly new wheel chair for 10 bucks at auctions. I never had to use the wheel chair yet but it is standing by in case. Paula uses the concentrater all the time for her COPD.

June:: Forest Park used to be so very nice to be in. I hope it still is. I used to go there just to walk around in the cool evenings. Worked at Deacones right across the highway from the park. Keep your powder dry and have fun.

All my 4 cruises were aboard Aircraft Carriers and we went day and night. Was interesting but I wouldn't want to have to do it again.

My 88 Ford van has 75,000 on it and it runs great.

Dianee You might also want to look at those elecrtic oil geaters. I use one most of the winter and they don't get hot enough to start a fire but do keep the chill off. Thay are also thermostat controled so you can set them to whatever you want for the heat. About 89 dollars I think.
Ace hard ware has them.

I drove a schoolbus and you have to pass the test for a CDL to drive a school bus or any other passanger transport that hauls over 15 people.

Deer are always a problem here in WY but you also have antelope and elk and of course the bears and buffalo to look out for. Road kill is ok to pick up in Wy starting this year. used to be the Highway Departments job to pick them up. In Mt. they call a zoo or animal preserve and they pick them up . Or the highway department picks them up and they go to a processor to be given to institutions for food.

No Diane. We had to sell the RV because I can't handle all the bending and other stuff to hook all the things up. My back will not take it. We tried 2 trips with it and decided not again. All gone and I don't regret trying to do it but am glad its gone.

We had a great trip into Yellowstone Thur and Fri.

I was only pointing out the person who reviewed it not the Windows 8. I think if you work for one company and they pay for everything you eat and buy that you would not only find fault with a competitors product but would post it for all to see.
I did not say he didn't know what he was talking about. I have never tried Windows 8 and I don't like the looks of it. No one pays me to say that . I just think they jumped the gun trying to beat Apple to the punch and got it wrong.

At the bottom it says he is an Apple tech. I guess he would not like any windows system.

Good morning everyone. Beth that was a good thing this group did and thanks for running with the ball on it.
About 39 here today. warmer for about another week at least.

Hi ya gang. I see my putr was highjacked earlier this week. yesterday I think. HAHA We both have COPD so when something flares up we really get it good. This time it wa Acute Bronc. Meds are working but cough can last up to 4 weeks. Hell I sure hope not. Mu ribs can not take taht. Hope you all are warming up slowly and safely.. Good Luck.

You guys in the midwest have a real "3 dog night" going on! (This is paula, incidentally, on Dan's computer).
We started the morning below zero but it went up to 25 degrees. Feeling bad for all of you further east where this arctic blast is just parked. DH is in the hospital overnight – I took him to clinic this morning because he had the awful cough, congestion and headache too, and a lot of trouble breathing. They looked at both of us and decided I couldn’t be much help if he needed care and decided to admit him and stabilize him with steroids and oxygen, etc. They’ll send him home tomorrow with O2 until this stuff clears out of his lungs. I’m using a little from time to time from the little portable tank we have – but I’m not coughing quite so much. Still can’t talk a lot or move around because I run out of breath easily. This too shall pass! Keep warm and safe, all. While I was out anyway I stopped at the store and let them carry my two bags out for me - I never wimp out like that. It was the best thing to do. So we're set here.
