DIANE - In 1987 when we were in Portland clearing Grampa's house after Daddy died, Mom spent over three weeks going through all papers trying to find deed to Florida Property. My Grandmother and her 4 siblings had bought ten acres in the early 19 teens (Estero (sp?).. now a golf club complex I think). She bought them all out, but one paper was missing. Mom found all tax bills showing only Gramma's name as tax payer and in the end it that, and other papers, was enough for legal proof that Daddy had been the sole heir and therefore it was now Mom's.
Complicated, I know. Daddy had just kept paying taxes after Grampa died in 1983 and he had not changed the paper work.

Wow, it will be 25 years end of this month that Daddy died.
