DIANE - Teddy had something going on early in the winter, similar to Rowdy. He would poke me to go out and then not need to 'go' when he was out. He just stood outside. I would bring him in and he wanted to go out again.
Not sure what was going on but ended up thinking he was a little feverish so gave him baby aspirin for a day or so as the first one helped a lot. Gave him extra yoghurt, too.
When he was definitely feeling better I could tell that he was much cooler. I am good at gauging his temp by putting fingers in his ears and on belly skin near back legs. He has allergies, so his regular temp is a bit higher than a normal dog temp. As his temp got back to his normal his normal attitude came back too. Hopefully Rowdy will come along the same way.
