Hello to all from Belleville, Illinois where it is a gray rainy day. The temperature is near 50 degrees, but the dampness bothers my joints.
Not much fireworks here over the 1st, but I did hear some gunshots. This was a real problem in some of the St. Louis neighborhoods. Folks don't stop to think (or care) that what they shoot up into the air has to come down someplace.
