Hi Everyone....One of the places in the Adirondacks that had significant damage was Long Lake, NY. All of that area has had so much rain. It seems every day and hard rains. I have talked to some of my family, but, several of them have been here so they could enjoy the heat! Which we were about a point below boil most of the time.
It was so much fun to have Connor (7) and Micheala (almost 9) here and watch them play tourist. Connor is seven going on thirty-two. Loves to read and likes the technical stuff. The Titanic and a cave tour he took were great for him. M is a pretty, prissy, dancer-type gal and she rode every adult roller coaster at Silver Dollar City - most twice and wanted to go again. No Fear! C- rode one adult coaster - got off and said never again. The adults all "said" they had a good time and I think they did. It was so good to see my sister. She now has memory problems which was sad, but, we didn't let it get in our way.
