OK, back. What's going on? Seriously, what gives?. The old BB chat used to cycle in mere hours (especially if a negative comment about cats was involved). So here is your happy Briguy update. Semi retired me...got the biz I was after! Was told by my contact the large corporate firm I was up against offered to pay a 10% cash "bonus" to "retain" me and my contact as "consultants" if they got the business. [Utterly illegal and actually a pretty serious felony].

I sat there stunned with my mouth open and eyes wide at that news. I was at a total loss for all words. This sort of crap simply doesn't happen in the business to business sales world (NEVER for me in 35+ years). My contacted started to laugh ....and handed me a P.O. for $65,000. He then informed me that particular company is now banned from ever quoting any future business with them again (nationwide no less) over it. A letter was also sent to the offending corporate HQ, to why they will never again be welcome to even offer a bid.

Wow. .....geeesh....Just wow! There are still honest people in the world! Don't think I'm suddenly rich though. My slice of that 65K pie is only about $700. I suspect though, I'll be getting much more stuff to provide in the future. Sometimes, not often enough,...it pays off to be honest and honorable.

All in all...a very, very, weird day. Now folks pray for me. I have to fire up a rented chain saw, and Mrs Briguy is terrified....as I've got a rather long history of really dumb accidents This time she'll be there to supervise (bark orders). LOL!
