I have been retired for almost 30 years. I hate to think of all the years I wasted by working. Retirement is good. I could spend all my days just sitting around and wasting time by sleeping late, getting up when I want to, and doing what I want. My wife and I would have the older grandkids come to visit and then pack them into our car and drive all over the country with them in the back seat making gagging sounds as we played 1950's rock and roll. Years from now our grandkds will have wonderful memories of the great times they had with grandma and grandpa. Now we visit the younger grandkids but we mostly just stay and visit. They still like to see us come and visit.

My wife and I are both into our 80s so we are not as active as we used to be. We may still go on cruises but mostly just stay on the ship relaxing in port and not go out on tours. People don't have to retire anymore. They can "work at home" on their computers. Just bring the computer and "work at home" on the ship or in a tourist hotel.
