Hello to all from Belleville, Illinois where it is a lovely day. The temperature is in the lower 80s and the humidity is low.
Tuesday was a challenging day in this area. According to my rain gage in the backyard, we had a full six inches of rain and some neighboring communities got even more than that. There was a lot of flooding in the area but thankfully my house is OK. Many of the roads around here were closed because of the water. We aren't used to getting that much rain so quickly.
