Hello to all from Belleville, Illinois where the winter storm has passed through and is now out of here! There is about an 8" accumulation of layered snow and ice outside. This will be around for while as we don't expect the temperature to get above freezing until next weekend.

I am so glad that I did not lose power at my house. Towns about an hour's drive south of me got hit hard with the freezing rain and ice, which knocked down trees and power lines.
