I don't post or even read the BB much anymore but must state my concern about Maureen & ask a question about Kacey.
Maureen, aren't there any local organizations that can help you with some daily chores? Don't know if you remember but I was diagnosed with cancer just before you were. I developed many of the same problems as you had from the surgery, chemo & radiation. I developed a DVT,& hemolyatic anemia, breathing problems, etc. Still suffer the residuals of them. I don't know how you manage on your own, I don't think I would have survived if it were not for my husband. You are my hero but please try to get some help.
I only have good memories of Kacey. At the time I was going through chemo I started selling OOAK newsboy caps with matching head scarves to help hide chemo hair loss. Kacey bought 3 or 4 from me saying she loved to wear hats to protect her hair from the sun. Don't know if that was the truth or not. When did she die & what was the cause?
