Good morning everyone. I have an annoying situation regarding a buyer who has not received his books. He asked for the tracking number which I sent. I use a management program so he would have gotten the tracking number from EBay when he got the sent mail notification. So I sent the number and now he says the number should have 20 digits and the one I sent has 22. I checked the number and it still has 22 numbers. He also wants to know how I am going to proceed. Well, do I refund his money even though I sent the item? I can see now why so many put warnings on their items as to their lack of responsibility for loss. I like to keep things simple and i don't see the need to insure or ask buyers to insure for low cost items unless they request it. So, what now? According to the tracking the item is in New Jersey as of December with no further info as to where it is now.
