Good afternoon,

It’s a dreary day today and the talk about tomato soup has me craving it with a grilled cheese sandwich. My favorite tomato soup is Amy’s organic low fat cream of tomato – delicious!

Diane, I was happy to “hear” you say that you intend to solve the problem of “no comfy chair to read in” this year.

Bob, CONGRATULATIONS!!

We had good news from DH’s “Pulmonary function test”. He’s fine – no Emphysema, just Asthma which we already knew.

And another tidbit of good news – the carpenter is coming early Monday morning to start the bathroom renovation. I cleared out the room this morning and DH is preparing to paint the top half and ceiling. We decided it would be better to paint the part that’s not being replaced before rather than risking getting paint on the new floor tile, etc. after. Some touch ups will be needed afterwards but that’ll be easy. Since we only have one bathroom we’ve made reservations at a local motel for Sunday night thru the following Saturday. Hope it’ll be finished by then. DH will spend the days here but I plan to take my laptop, Kindle, and knitting and veg out watching streamed Netflix movies and reading at the motel (with a walk every day so I won’t feel entirely slothful).
