Patsy, the stockings I fill for DH and DS are always overflowing and about half candy with razors, shaving soap for DH, shaving cream for DS, toothbrushes, dental floss, magazine subscription notices, shoe and boot laces, Computer flash drives, SD cards, headphones, scratch off lottery tickets, gift cards.

Mine is filled by DH and usually has a small box of chocolates, a bottle of booze and a couple lottery tickets.

I wonder what Macy's would do if they received letters from hometown people who said they were going to boycott the Macy's in their hometown. If Macy's couldn't bother to show their hometown band in the parade they couldn't bother to shop at Macy's anymore. I'm sure they would get a letter saying there is only so much time to show the parade and unfortunately they couldn't show everything. Hah! They have plenty of time to show Al Roker and actors touting their shows on NBC. Maybe I will fire off a strongly worded letter of protest to Macy's when I get the time.

Today was a sad day in New Brunswick as the funeral for the 3 RCMP officers who were shot while on duty June 4th was held. One of the officers was the dog handler and the dog stood by his masters coffin and cried and whimpered during the service. The funeral was televised but I had to work. We wore red shirts today to honour the RCMP.

Sunny and pretty warm here in Indy. I just completed giving feedback to all of my buyers up through mid-May. Wrote one listing today for a 14 piece red handled kitchen utensil set . Took me most of the afternoon to name and describe each piece. And I still have still have to do pictures. I think I'll read for a bit.
I think there is an Indianapolis Pacer / Miami Heat. This is the finals for The best of 7 for the Eastern NBA Division. The Pacer / Heat are tied at 2-2.

But perhaps Malachy's predictions can be thwarted if believers climb to the top of Macchu Picchu and throw a maiden into the sacred well, thereby starting the Mayan calendar over again and averting the end of all life as we know it. On the other hand, with the advent of shows like Honey Boo Boo and all, I'm not sure anyone SHOULD stand in the way of the apocalypse. Just my musings on a cold winter's day.

There is nothing like a good rousing nap, I always say. After a twenty minute nap I am rearing to go, usually straight to the dinner table. Taking an afternoon nap while the rest of the world is still working and struggling is a sinful pleasure. This old New England raised boy casts off that Puritanical ethos and now indulges wantonly in wicked pleasures like afternoon naps.
