As a child limas made me gag and finally my mother stopped even trying to get me to eat them The very first dinner I was to have with my future in-laws included succotash and I just knew I would have to have a little. Imagine my surprise when I tasted something close to heaven. Fresh limas and frsh corn. Ate fresh limas every chance I could after that. Only place I ever saw them was in Southern New Jersey and this was many years ago.But there truly is no comparison between those and frozen or dreid.
