Liz, I loved my books. I never wanted a Kindle BUT I could never love my iPad and I could never get the dadgummed thing to work right. I finally started using it for just an ebook reader. I REALLY like the fact that I can enlarge the type! REALLY like that. I fell so in love with my Kindle that we traded the iPad in at BestBuys and bought a Kindle for Denis.

I have the Kindle app on my Droid phone too. I download books into and I read those at the vet's when I have to wait.

In fact, I love mine so much, I got one for Denis too! He seems very happy with his.

I really like the fact that I can make the text larger. Getting old is not fun. 🙁

Waiting on the DSL fixit guy to show up. We've been having trouble ever since we got it in Jan. FINALLY someone has determined that it was never installed correctly in the first place! So they're sending out a live body. I sure hope he's good.

We have purchased a motor home and have been taking 3 babies with us. Those would be the Shelties. 2 little tiny baby kittums (just ask them, they'll tell you!) that are nearly as big as the Shelties stay home with a sitter.

Not going really far away just yet. Learning the ropes. Teaching the babies about rving. One was real barky at first but she's settled down now. And off we go. lol

Just back from a trip to visit with Liz and Bill at their lake house. What a wonderful time we had!

It was nasty hot but the guys played golf while Liz and I sucked up the a/c and visited and played with all the dogs.

Our 3 Shelties got along famously with Captain Teddy. He even showed our babies how to ride on the boat!!!

Of course, one of ours (Tigger who is nearly blind due to cataracts) had to ride in the front section so she could feel the wind in her hair. And when Bill had to slow down due to shallow water, she barked at him. She wanted him to go fast. lol

We had such a great time with them. Of course we always do! We just have to get together more often!
