hello all.....my beloved Texas is burning down, the worst of it is pretty close to Austin, where I grew up. They can hardly start to contain the fire due to the horrific drought and the fact they are out of water in so many places. Talked to my only sibling, Jennifer, this afternoon. it just breaks my heart to see so much beautiful land and forest totally wiped out, not to mention hundreds of houses, makes it all else seem so small. Hope you all are well.

Liz, I am so sorry about your friend, God bless you and her and the loved onces she leaves behind. It's so hard to lose someone who has been such an obvious blessing in your life, as I am sure you were in hers. Thinking of you tonight. I've lost three dear friends just this year, too. Take care.

well, hello again, this shows how bad i've gotten, i had already registered and didn't remember, been sick a long time, but am trying slowly to get back into life. thanks again for dear grano9 for helping me remember, i've missed you guys!

hey ya'll, glad to have "found" the new stomping grounds...i miss you all. I need to get busy on Ebay and sell as much as I am able, my sister and her husband are homeless in Texas and while living with a good friend, they are trying to get a downpayment together for a new trailer. it's a long story involving my parents' will, the sale of our family home and the fact my Daddy is trying to rewrite things that Mama didn't intend to happen. it's been a long, sad thing, showing that money can be a terrible thing at times. hope you all are well....my hero Steve Earle is coming to Minneapolis in 12 days and I am, as always, so happy!!
