They can hardly start to contain the fire due to the horrific drought and the fact they are out of water in so many places. Talked to my only sibling, Jennifer, this afternoon. it just breaks my heart to see so much beautiful land and forest totally wiped out, not to mention hundreds of houses, makes it all else seem so small. Hope you all are well.

I need to get busy on Ebay and sell as much as I am able, my sister and her husband are homeless in Texas and while living with a good friend, they are trying to get a downpayment together for a new trailer. it's a long story involving my parents' will, the sale of our family home and the fact my Daddy is trying to rewrite things that Mama didn't intend to happen. it's been a long, sad thing, showing that money can be a terrible thing at times. hope you all are well....my hero Steve Earle is coming to Minneapolis in 12 days and I am, as always, so happy!!
