I use facebook a lot and my email address is still the same. We've had a rough patch lately with some things but everything always works out for the best.
Manny has been having some mental issues and putting us through our paces, he is getting a lot of help right now and we're hoping for the best.

mnewville ~ I loved the list of marriages. The DH and I both come from marry-divorce-marry-divorce-marry families which is one of the reasons we waited till we got to our 30s before settling down at all.

maureen ~ I am thinking of you! A nurse coming by could be a fantastic thing! She can help you with a lot of daiy thing, I bet. I wore your flower beads out the other day and got lots of compliments. It happens every time I wear them. Thanks for sending them.

kat yes, I did very well with no knowledge of the lures. All I needed were the names that were on them and the ones that didn't have names were found by the same bidders who bought the others. Everything sold.

Good evening, all. We are all very tired today after a day at the zoo and then on to Sam's where nationwide you can get in and buy without a membership and no 10% premium. So we wandered around and ate samples and bought 8 bulk cans of tomatoes for making salsa with.

I use cloth bags and my sackers always put the meat in a plastic bag before they put it in the cloth bag and this makes me very happy. I read an article about how people don't wash their cloth bags properly and the study of types of bacteria in them.

I just got back from Walmart where I bought a Benadryl stick for $2.38 and I had a coupon for $2 off a Benadryl stick. So I paid 38 cents for it and it provided almost instant relief for my ant bites. Hallelujah!

Helen I love the pic of you and Edgar. I will always think of him whenever I see mullein, and somewhere around here I still have that article I meant to send him.

I am starting to pack again. We've decided that after all this time renting, maybe we want to buy something come spring so I am putting Things In Boxes again. Everyone has something they want in a bought home, like an extra half bath at least and I want a place where I can see the sunset without having to leave my yard.

We are having a very late supper tonight of cilantro cream chicken served on a bed of buttered pearl barley. Barley is a little expensive to me but it makes a great substitution for rice in any recipe, even fried in the wok with soy and fish sauce.

It's been steamy here and damp where it rains a little almost every day. The grass isn't getting dry enough to mow but it continues to grow.

furtima I regularly offend one woman I have met with things that wouldn't offend anyone else, but she thinks people are speaking to her in secret code. There is another in this new group who makes me LOL and nobody gets offended so I'm sure they can all handle it coming from me, too.

furtima After 5 years, I am only just starting to meet some like minded other women. I found them on a local bargain hunting page. It's been very difficult for me to find some with an off color sense of humor and who aren't ultra religious, or even religious at all. I don't like having to censor my stories for content.
