A year and a day after the stroke he walked out of Walmart and was hit by a pickup. He is doing OK put lives in constant pain, has limit mobility, needs considerable amount of assistance doing daily activities and has lost his independence. He hates that he is no longer allowed to drive.

I have occassionaly stopped by to read the board but have not had time to chat. Three years ago DH and I were suppose to take a cruise. Then he got hit by a truck. Now we are rescheduling our trip west. We will be in Seattle May 25 & 26. We will be in Salem, OR June 5-10. Contact me if anyone wants to meet up in either place.
