Book Board Chat

Good evening, I lurk more than post, but I was seeing the other day on this board about reading books, and I am ashamed to say how long it has been since I've actually picked up a book. Headed down to the library and picked up Andy Rooney's new book *another suggestion from here*. It was an excellent read, I have redeemed myself, but I was sad about the thin book pages, you could see thru them, more like newsprint...Gayle of used to the thick vellum paper that one had to *lick the index finger* to turn a page

I'm half listening to the television here in Canada and they are saying it's sometimes better to read a book, by the last page first...Gayle of not sure I could do that wouldn't it spoil the whole story?

Yes I gathered that, just wanted to be sure...Gayle thank you for your kind words I enjoy being here and am extremely grateful to Curt, however, I'm going through some life changing decisions right now and my heart says I'd do the karma thing IF my finances enabled me to do it JMHO

LIZ, I cannot believe it was six years, what a worry, I cannot reconcile to myself how I can worry about someone I've never met, but I sure did. My GF just had a colonoscopy Friday cancer runs in her family. She was well sedated. Scary
