@bookbase ~ I've been thinking about you at your LI cottage and the sand and water and puttering around. Thanks for the info about The Help on 20/20 last night. I've not yet watched that part of the segment. The first part was about Jaycee Dugard and how much Horse Therapy helped her in the last two years to readjust and learn to trust. She now has a foundation that centers around Horse and Animal therapy. Most likely wellingtonct & mysteryhorse will be interested to know the profound impact that Horse therapy had on Jaycee Dugard and giving her life back to her. Got a tear in my eye when the mother was singing her DD favorite song from her childhood and came to the line "please don't take my sunshine away..."

I feel the same about seeing the movie The Help. The book was so great that it would be terrible if the movie didn't do it justice. One of the reasons we don't go to movies very often is that I walk out and say "that was a waste of a lot of money." I don't mind if I am watching them on DVD and they are just ok but to have paid for movie tickets for the two of us! I hope this doesn't fall into the double whammy category of not only not being worth the ticket price but even worse making a mess of the book. I'm ever hopeful however. After all GWTW was a great book and great movie!
