Good Morning all. It is a beautiful morning with the sun shining through the Green Leaves. I am amazed at how fast things are recovering from the drought. The bushes seem to be badly damaged though. Some have big areas of death, the fire bushes in the neighborhood are dead. Those kind of bushes must have a shallow root system for it is happening to them everywhere. We, DH, managed to keep the potted porch plants in pretty good shape. He moved them into the shade in a spot very near the garden hose. The squirrels will have a hard time this year for a lot of the acorns have dropped and they are tiny deformed things. We will just have to go out in the country side and buy some corn to get them through the winter.

It is nice and cozy to be sitting in front of the TV watching all of the Olympics and reruns. DH is recovering very well from his Pace Maker. He will have to stay quiet for most of the next week and then he will be able to drive but no water aerobics for a while yet. We have had help from our family and friends so the whole thing has gone smoothly.
