@stamphick --- I don't know about that. The author of this book , Rodello Hunter , eventually left Provo , Utah for a job in Utah before she found time to write.
But , OTOH , I suspect that the Mormon men were very good at getting the women to teach the many classes and supervise the dozens of other activities which they performed for the church. Maybe they learned that from we Methodists. I think I might have to buy the full version of her other 2 books " A House of Many Rooms" and Wyoming Wife."
My current book is " West of Kabul, East of New York an Afghan American Story" by Tamim Ansary. It, too, is a fascinating story.
