HI Carol!!! its a calculated risk....I used to almost NEVER accept those sorts of offers as I figured if they want me to end the auction sooner, it MUST be going to garner more than I anticipated. Though lately, in refusing to add a BIN, Ive seen that in fact, that isnt always the case. About fifty percent end for LESS than the offered BIN price....Ya pays yer nickel and takes yer chances, I guess.... Once years ago, at a garage sale, I spotted this little black coffin on a table....opening it up, it was a promotional gift box sent to critics with a review copy of Nightmare Before Christmas. About a n hour after it was listed, I got an email form a guy in Australia, asking if I would consider a BIN price. I politely refused and he wrote back saying....."Im going to win this anyway, so you might as well sell it to me, hows $1500US sound!?" I couldnt get the damn thing packed up fast enough!!! I guiess he was a Tim Burton freak with a LOT oF money to blow!!!! Anyway, good luck on the book!!! WHats the title of the book, if you dont mind my asking? 🙂
