I had to comment on the discussion about Shingles. I've had them at least 8 times since June 2007. The first time was the worst. The rash was like a solid belt several inches wide on the left side of my body running from my spine to just below my belly button. Clothing or bedding touching it near drove me crazy. The nerve pain was bad too. Each year the outbreaks have milder each time. I usually came down with them in June or especially August (not this year, so far *touch wood*). I'll have to read about the vaccine & how to get it in Canada. I won't be 60 for a few years yet!
