The storm may have missed New York City but it hit us full on in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. I didn't go to work today because of the storm. I live in a rural area and i'm about a mile from the main road. I wasn't sure that I would have been able to get back home had I gone to work. It was a good thing as my street wasn't plowed at 4 pm when I checked last. It's still snowing and the winds are still blowing. I still have power & have the bath tub full of water incase the power does go off as I'm on a well. At 4 pm the snow was up to my knees & deeper in drifts. I'm moving in March back into the city, so I'll be much closer to work and not on a well, so will have water in power outages. Hopefully all those in the storm's path will get through it OK.
