After reading Jim's quip about Mrs.Lincoln enjoying the play, I thought I would say that we just saw a production of It. Our American Cousin. A fabulous farce and worth seeing if you ever get the chance. Rarely performed. Rumour has it that no one heard the shot at first because the audience was laughing so loudly. Totally believable!

SCRAPPLE brought me out of the rafters. If there is a Publix near you Diane, they sell it in the frozen food section hidden all the way down at the end

Still two mail deliveries in Vermont in the late 70's. Also remember that the pharmacy would deliver your medicine by sending it up on the afternoon mail truck.

Have to jump in on the fresh lima beans. As a child limas made me gag and finally my mother stopped even trying to get me to eat them The very first dinner I was to have with my future in-laws included succotash and I just knew I would have to have a little. Imagine my surprise when I tasted something close to heaven. Fresh limas and frsh corn. Ate fresh limas every chance I could after that. Only place I ever saw them was in Southern New Jersey and this was many years ago.But there truly is no comparison between those and frozen or dreid.
