JIM Belated Happy Birthday Wishes to you.. Sounds like you have a plan in Downsizing.. We are getting a new metal roof put on our house, in preperation for the time when we will sell this house, and possibly go into Senior Living. Surely at our age, it is not far off.. DH has some health issues..

JOANNE, How nice that your friends gave you and Easter Bunny.. My friend also gave me a Bag of mini Foil wrapped Easter Eggs.. Since I am trying to continue to lose wgt, I gave them to my husband, He was always buying me Sponge Candy from the local Choc Candy factories..So the wgt I gained is his fault.. Good to see your son is making more trips home to see you..

JUNE I do not remember LAURIE, but is that the one who raised Small Horses, we called her Wellie? She had her horses on an island or someplace where it was not easy getting in and out of? Often wondered how she was doing, I think she had Computer problems and just dropped off the boards..

So many are MIA and we never know what happened to them.. Darned Shame..

Pray every one had a Happy Easter and the families who could, got together..

HI JOANNE, I had followed your son being ill and in the hospital, last I heard he had gone back to Nursing Home.. So sorry you lost him as well as Jack..I am sure you must go through some highs and lows; but know you are one tough lady, and enduring. Glad your Younger son is making it home more often now for you.. When you need him..

HI JANE, Thank you. I remember one gal on the jewelry board, use to own horses, was that You.. Doesn't seem like Jane was her name, but maybe there were a couple of Horse women, on the boards..

Joanne, is your Son coming home for Easter, or are you going out to dinner with some friends? I know at our age, it might be just another day; but I hope no one is alone, on the holidays..
I am with you and most of the others here, I never was interested in make believe, except Cinderella when Young.. I sure am not interested in Harry Potter, or Lord of the Rings.. My Husband watches those, plus, the Walking Dead.. they just go on and on.. Not my kind of movie or books.. I read a lot of mystery some romance, and books in general, but no fantasy, or witch craft.. I use to read Gothic Mysteries a lot when younger.. Do not see many of those anymore..

JIM, Do you have another Cruise booked.. I am still wanting to do another one, but not sure when, its getting late in my life.. I best hurry.. My friend and I say if we outlive our Husbands she and I will go.. being that I am closing in on 85 and her 87, we better hurry up.. LOL Always thought I would like to Retire to senior living on a Cruise Ship..

DIANE & PATSY, We use to own a home elsewhere, when our kids were growing up.. with a fenced in Lot next to our house for the kids and dog.. around the back with all covered with Spirea, small clusters of white flowers, they smelled so good, Just nice to go outside and sniff the fresh air.. I too did not know there were other varieties until I saw your post..

I do not know a few of you hear from Past Chats.. but I have been around for over 20 yrs on Ebay.. I love reading, and do so every night before going to sleep, It might take me a week or two to get through a book. But I need to start getting rid of them.. I only buy large print, and think I have been monopolizing them.. Need to put an ad in the paper.. I must have 50 of them, I deplete the local Thrift Store..

I too read quite a bit. I use to read Gothic Mysteries, but hard to find those in Large Print. which is all I read now.. I read about anything now, as long as its Large Print.. I really like James Patterson, and Sandra Brown..

I remember many of you from other boards, I am semi active on the Pottery Board and the Glass Board, thought I use to post here at one time, but I had to register this time, by way of Contacting Curt the Webmaster.. He opened it for me.. and then was to close it again, so I am guessing only the select are allowed to join? Not sure..

Expect me to be in and out, Life is so busy and gets complicated sometimes..
